03/01/2007: "Burned Out!!!"
After heavy use my vulcanizer heating element melted itself to the heat sink.

We've been working hard trying to complete a major re-tool for Barzso Playsets. This vulcanizer had been working almost constantly for the last 3 weeks. I guess the strain just proved too much.

We've also blown an air compressor motor and had to replace a timer on one of the spin casters. Much of this week has been spent just efffecting repairs. I believe I've almost got everything back in working order.

Whew!!!

Uh, that's bad right? Give the machines a break Jeff. You know they can't keep up with you.

Ya it's bad. I almost fried the replacement too. The machine is wired for 240 but I didn't realize that it splits each plate to 120. So, when I wired the new one for 240 I created a bit of smoke and heat
. I think I got it all wired right now. I have to put it all back together in the morning.
