Sniper Chick (again)

Here is the Sniper Chick again.

sniperchick2 (16k image)
This time without the contorted legs. Sometimes trying to make an action pose can go a little bit far. This time is a little more subdued. This one will likely make it to the mold in its present form.

Procreate Figure

Duel Pistols

pistolgirl (21k image)
This figure was done as a trial using the new "Procreate" sculpting putty. We have our first shipment of "Procreate" available in the on-line store now. The new sculpting medium has been getting rave reviews from the scultping community so we just couldn't resist it any longer.

Armored Space Suit

Here is a picture of an Armored Space Suit from Steve Lortz sculpted back in 1992.

armoredss (23k image)
This was to be the first in a range of Armored Space Suits that for one reason or another was never completed. I'm thinking of offering some of the old figures that don't really go with anything as a "legacy" range. Just to make them available to anyone interested.

The Valet

An action hero deserves an action pose.

When you need your car parked in a hurry and you just can't find that perfect spot, you may need to hire a professional. THE VALET.

We're looking to push the envelope a bit with this one casting him in one piece. We'll let you know how he turns out once we get some casting (or not).

THE question!!!

What is the "Industry Standard" scale?

scale (64k image)
Generally speaking, which is the only way you can speak of this issue, the "industry standard" is 28mm scale figurines though what exactly is 28mm is a bit of a mystery. The zombie in these pictures is "29mm toe to eye" and seems to work with the "industry standard" to me.

I'm Hungry Mommy!

Here is a sneak peek at a couple of the new zombies for Ben's "Out There"™ line of creepy figs.

While Susan and Sarah were spending some quality time shopping at the local mall, they were subjected to a brainworm neuro-virus attack. Now it's time for lunch. Though, not what they had originally planned.

Sniper Chick

Here is a new sculpt Ben finished up just moments ago. This will be part of the same new range as the new zombies, greys, bogies and other creepy modern stuff.

Pimp My Bogie

This is a "bogie" in powered armor originally sculpted by Steve Lortz back in 1992. We dug out the original green. There were some missing rivet so Ben replaced them. smile Then added more. razz and more... crazy Anyway it turned out pretty fly. cool eh? We're preparing the old "bogies" for a return soon.

54mm masters

We've been busy casting, sorting, and cleaning masters for a major retooling for Barzso Playsets. Here's a pic of our high-tech operation in action.

These are some more of the "S" scale model truck parts from Jeff Wilhelm. Click on the picture to see some more of this work. I'll be molding these parts next week.

Zombie Girl

I snatched this green from Ben's Desk

zombiegirl (15k image)
It looks like Ben has been working to add to our line of zombies. I think his zombies are some of the best out there. Most sculptors do zombies as just a corpse but Ben likes to give his zombies action and character. There are at least 8 more zombies ready to be molded. I think I even saw a clown zombie over there. Click on the pic for more views and watch this space for more news.

Brainworm

The Brainworm has been found

brainworm (22k image)
I just took this picture this morning. I've been digging through old greens hoping to find this. Many people have been asking about the brainworm but my mold for it was just worn out. I really wanted to make a few minor alterations before I remolded. So, I needed to make new masters. It's always best working with the greens for this. This has a copyright on the bottom from 1992. I didn't realize it had been that long. Oh well. Now with the green I can get this thing back into productions for all you Steve Lortz fans out there.
